Marina Stoponja

Croatian artist lives and works between Zagreb and Dubai. She is currently attending the postgraduate study in the Academy of fine Arts in Zagreb. She Participated in numerous group exhibitions and organized numerous individual exhibitions in Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Norway, UAE, and Korea.  She is the winner of numerous awards and has participated in numerous international sculpting symposiums worldwide. Also, she is the author of a dozen public works in Europe. Her works are displayed in many private collections and museums. In her sculptural and painting projects she works on themes that describe life, nature, and the theme of human relationships. She mainly uses marble sometimes accompanied by other material like bronze, aluminum, and wood. She creates sculptures in large-scale stone and marble, and her sculptures and paintings are often self-portraits in philosophical and biographical descriptions. Her unique style comes out through precise, high quality technical production in material.
